Week 2

I got more sleep this week, though it never seems to be enough. I just got the letters and package you sent the day I left. It was nice to get some mail. And Ann the earplugs are a life saver. I cant believe that i ever slept without them. This next week i will be giving the first lesson in portugese to my teacher, it will be one that i write and memorize becuase i am not all that proficient in the language. But it is amazing to see the progress i have had. I can write just about anything i want to. I cant say all that much, at least not very quickly. But i can now follow conversations. My Brazilian room mates are hillarious. Elder Marchado and Elder Araugo. They dont speek english so communicating with them is fun. We do alot of acting and laughing. Elder Marchado and I are on the same bunk We have some inside jokes. I was trying to ask him if their were any monkey around here, and he started jumping around like a monkey. So I call him macaco loco, crazy monkey. He calls me Macaco blanco, white monkey. My spelling in english is terrible now. when i wrote in my journal yesterday i couldn´t remember how to spell anything. I went to the temple this morning. It was great as always. I gave a talk in sacrament meeting. They give each class a subject and then call on people randomly. I was called on, my subject was the restoration. I also gave the closing prayer for priesthood, em portugês. Thankyou for all the messages and letters. It is great to get mail. I might send a letter out today with some stories. But I will deffinately sent you an email every week.
