The reason you have not recieved mail from me is because i have not sent any until today. I didnt bring any envelopes so i had to buy some and so i didnt have time to send out any letters. There is a letter in the mail for you today. I am glad that people are asking about how things are going. I would hate to think that i was forgotten on only 3 weeks. You can give my address to anyone you want, I am in no way oppossed to recieving letters from anyone. I got the letter that was sent to me twice yesterday. I am not as opsessed with letters as alot of the other missionaries but i have to say it is sweet to get letters. I at first tried to memorize everything for the lessons, but it sounded so fake i decided to learn the words instead and put them together on the spot. It is not as quick but i like it alot more. The speed will come with time. Last sunday we had the best devotional so far. Sister Cardon the CTM mission president´s wife gave a talk on not worrying. She started off by telling us her concerns and the concerns of many of the missionaries. Included was a picture a one of the missionaries girlfriends that was waiting. She talked about worrying about her pets and her 30 year old son that isn´t married, she then gave an inspirationonal message about putting things in the lord´s hands and not worrying, then she went back and said that she doesnt need to worry about her dogs or her son because the lord will protect them, and elder Craig doesn´t need to worry about his girlfriend because by now someone is taking care of her. We all laughed so hard that several of the missionaries fell off their chairs. The city on pday is intresting. Everyone knows who we are because there are so many of us around all the time. We are only allowed to be about 2 blocks away from the CTM on pday so i havent seen much of the city. They have pizza places all over the place, but they are all closed at the time we are out because in sao Paulo pizza places are like night clubs. they dont open until 6 or 7 and we have to be in the CTM by 5. But the food is great. The spices and tastes are different but the general concept is the same as in america. This friday will be our first day of prosyliting (sp?) in the city. They will take us out in a van and let us loose in an area and tell us when to be back at the van, and other then that it is all up to us. I have been told that the first time prosyliting is "scary beond all reason" so it will probably be just that. I hope all is going well for the family. You will probably get my next email before my letter, but i wrote mainly about other things that wont change with the delay.
